The Reef remains awesome at 1500 CFS.  Bates creek is dumping in some color below Government, but all the way to chalk bluff has been clear.  The big fish are really getting buggy.  We are finding a lot of big fish feeding hard in the faster water on beatis and midges.  Currently, our favorites have been, the mayhem midge size 18 in BWO or Purple.  The Mcgruber size 18 in black or chocolate.  The Bubble back BWO size 18.  The Majerus top secret midge in size 18 and 20.  The fish are loving both red and purple rock worms, but purple has been the hot color for me lately my favorite is a Majerus purple sparkle annie size 12 or 14.  Leeches are also very much in play right now, our favorites are the ‘Leech and Chong’ in Rust, Natural, and Olive, and the Majerus Sparkle leech in Rust, Natural and olive.  Our biggest fish yesterday a 28″ inch Brown took a leech. Swinging flies is also producing BIG fish! The weather looks incredible, nows the time to get on the water!
