Born and raised in Denver, Ben grew up fishing the North and South Platte rivers throughout Colorado and Wyoming. He developed a passion for fishing at a young age through his father, who would make family vacations to go fish the Miracle Mile, Fremont, and Grey Reef tail waters. In his passion for fishing, Ben also found a love for teaching others about the sport, and helping them catch fish. Moving to the Yampa Valley in 2015, Ben spent every day on the water, falling in love with the Northwest, specifically the Yampa river. In 2019 he joined the Wyoming Fly Fishing Guide Staff and now calls the North Platte his home river.
