Brock Anderson

Raised in Casper Wyoming, Brock was fly fishing as far back as he can remember.   Fly fishing has always been one of his loves, and he has always found solace on a river or flat somewhere.   He spent the last 3 decades training and practicing as a Trauma, Vascular, and General surgeon.   Flyfishing and the beauty of being outside always kept him sane and restored his soul wherever he went.    He went to the University of Washington in Seattle for medical school.   Then UC Davis in Sacramento for surgical residency, a trauma surgery fellowship, and to work at the busiest trauma hospital west of the Mississippi.  Finally, he returned home
to Casper to practice surgery in 2011.   Despite the grueling career, he always made time to travel and fly fish the world as well as his home rivers.   The mental and physical strain of such an intense career coupled with some physical disabilities finally caught up with him and he hung up his scalpel in 2022 to heal, live life, and do what he loves.    Being outside in the wilds has always been where his heart lies, and he enjoys sharing that with everyone.   For Brock, sharing the beauty of his home state of Wyoming and the art of fly fishing is truly rewarding.
