Cool mornings, fall colors, and streamer season is here! October is a great time of year to spend time on the water. The current flows are approximately 500 CFS. Nymphing continues to produce, with annelids, and squirmy’s paired with a small baetis or midge pattern! The fish are loving the zirdle and T.J. Hooker. When it comes to streamers we’re having good luck with the thin mint, goldie, and thin Lizzy. Work structure, deeper edges, and slower water, varying your retrieve until you find what gets a response. There are some floating weeds on the upper stretches, so check your flies regularly and keep them clean. Pack layers for chillyh mornings and changing Wyoming weather!
